Here a drinking game I found!

Disclaimer: In no way do I intend to offend or change anybody's views. I respect all views.
This was posted as a way to lighten the "heavy"subject. We all know that either side won't change their views based on a debate, and everybody watching the debate, will already have his mind set on a theory. Therefor this image will if anything IMO close the gap between the opinions by having a common cause to drink about.

Religious debate shouldn't be on Oppo. People can believe whatever they want to, and it shouldn't matter unless they are trying to push it down your throat as well. In any case, nobody ever changes sides and nothing of value is accomplished. Have a TVR.

I'm fine with everyone believing what they do, and respect that. The reason i posted this is just to lighten the debate. The image I posted has IMO no favor for either of the parties.

No harm meant and no debating on oppo intended. :)

If we should debate anything it should be what makes the GT 2000 so awesome! Since we would all agree on all points!

As a euro Jalop I do think that this is a topic that does mostly plays in the US. Doesn't mean I respect anybody less/judge them on their views about it though. Whatever makes people happy.

Anima isn't debating, he's just saying if you're going to watch it, here's a drinking game for the occasion. And the game looks funny, because I can see each of them saying those things.

And I don't think it's fair to say that NO ONE ever changes their mind, though I think the vast majority never will.

But that doesn't mean the debates shouldn't take place or that people shouldn't talk about them. The key is, while you DON'T have to respect other peoples opinions, you DO need to respect other people. At least if they are rational and civilized people.

And I see you're TVR and raise you a '70 Baldwin-Motion Chevelle.

I have no problem with religion. I have a problem when it's put against facts though and pushed as the truth... I'm french myself, but lived in the state for quite a few years. Luckily I've never had to deal with people like this other than behind my computer :)

I agree with you on points, but let's just keep it at that. Oppo is neutral grounds (Switzerland if you will ;) ) and not the place for actual discussions about religion. Let's keep it light. :)

That's cool, and I understand your reasoning/frustration.
I have enough trust in my fellow opponauts to be able to post this without any big troubles. :) If there are any, I will happily delete it.

The reasoning i went by was that anybody knowing about this, or interested in the game aspect of this would already have a preset view. Also tried to keep it as unbiased as possible.

But I catch your drift !

That's cool, I do think it's interesting but it almost always turns heated by people that have their beliefs but no real reasons for having them.

I agree, yet if there is any multicultural incredibly varied community that is able to discuss or for that matter just enjoy the interaction, it would be Oppo. And that makes me thankful for this community.
